about conciseness of life

I luv new age songs, and this is my favorite (from ERA):

"Don't you forget about me
Don't you forget about me
We were soft and young
In a world of innocence

Don't you forget about me
Don't you forget our dreams
Now you've gone away
Only emptiness remains"

Maybe it's about the conciseness of life.

All that we've livin' for, all that we've wastin' our breath for...

Is it full of sense, to sell our soul to all that just sucks it from us, with no regardness?

And what about all the good feelings that we borned with?

The satisfaction to be in the lap of our mother, and no one worry in our head...

The first goal in the terrace... (and the silly face of your brother)

The happiness when we looked across the street and fixed the eyes on our lovely friend coming to visit us, after long years been far away...

The warm hug after a long 10hs travel to see your dad (just once at year)...

The shy smile from the person you love so much, no reason to be...

(The shy smile from the person you love so much, just for itself.)

...

All those things that once got meaning to our lives,

And suddenly were took away to give more space to business, luxe traveling, status,

Taking off the shine and beauty of a simple breakfast with our children,

Overrating the bright view of a sky full of stars for a annoying notebook work,

And when we suddenly look back (if you're lucky to do that before i'ts too late),

And the unavoidable question comes to you:

Is it all about me?

Well, I don't think so.

I believe (and I have many many reasons to that) it wasn't the first plane of God to us to be.

And I hope to change that, faster than I can.

I don't want it to be my last view from my days.
